The Website

We approached Azzaro with a fresh, modern and very stylist design concept for the US website. In dealing with this wonderful company, we realized that the need for a more refreshing site for the French and Spanish audiences was needed and suggested recreating or redesigning those website as well. Our suggestion was very well received and we began the process of creating and designing the website.

Originally we presented a design that had a conservative wine oriented theme. This idea was well taken however this was not what the marketing team at Azzaro had in mind; they wanted a more modern, risk taking website that would make a Marketing Statement. So we went back to the drawing board, one of the challenges that we were facing was “the elements” that we had available for design. We needed to get away for standard, wine glass and grapes pictures. Although, it wasn’t easy to finally come out with  an original design and after playing around with different layouts and color usage, our design department came out with what today is the Azzaro website.

The website say it all, Azzarowines.com. It is a bold website - not afraid of taking design risks or trying out new elegant marketing ideas. Just take a look at the blur in the navigation while your eyes should be focused on the content which is sharp and great looking, then, switch right back to the navigation and see how things change and you are now focusing on the navigation and sections of the site rather than the content.

The Collateral Applications

While the entire front end website is Flash based, there are a couple of areas that needed web development. We created a News manager tool that works based on an XML feed that updates flash content within the news section. We also created an application for International dealer management.
